CV

Binyu Zhao studied chemistry at Xiamen University (China) and obtained his bachelor degree in 2010. With a thesis on imaging and nanomechanics of nanobubbles at the solid/liquid interface, he obtained his PhD in 2015 from Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He became interested in interfacial fluid dynamics when he was a Postdoc at Southwest Jiaotong University (China) and at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. In March 2018, he came to the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden as a Guest Scientist. He has been a research scientist since December 2019. Currently, he is building an experimental group focusing on wetting and nanomechanics.
