The research focus of the Polymer Separation Group is divided into three different topics:

• Theoretical and Applied Field-Flow Fractionation of Complex Nanostructures
• Advanced Characterization and High-Temperature Separation of Polyolefins
• Bioresource-derived polymers: Advanced characterization of natural and complex synthetic polymers and renewable material development

• "Enzymatic Cross-linking of Casein Nanoparticles Across the Scales: Fundamental Mechanisms and Technological Potentials" (funded by DFG)
• "USOME - Advanced Analysis of Polymersome and Exosome Hybrids for Potential Application in Therapeutics and Diagnostics" (funded by Horizon 2020-MSCA-IF)
