- iThenticate

iThenticate is a tool used for plagiarism assessment. It can find similarities in the written content when compared with the most cited journals and other online sources. iThenticate supports the data upload of documents such as .doc, .docx, .pdf and others, too, usually as a seperate file. Uploading bigger data in zip-file is also possible.
Users are centrally administrated by the head librarian, Ms. Jana Schäfer (schaefer@ipfdd.de). In urgent cases Frau Dr. Agnes Schausberger can also administrate those users on behalf of Ms. Schäfer.
By contacting the head librarian you can find out who is responsible for conducting the examination at your institute or in your department.
Regarding questions how to use the software and possible problems you might encounter, please, contact Dr.-Ing. Nicole Vilbrandt ( vilbrandt@ipfdd.de ).
