I am currently developing functionalization strategies for MXenes to improve their dispersion in organic solvents and exploring how molecular linkers influence interlayer interactions and charge transport mechanisms. My research focuses on establishing a fundamental understanding of MXene-hybrid material interactions and their electronic properties, enabling their seamless integration into solution-processed electronic devices. Additionally, I am collaborating with Dr. Hendrik Schlicke on device fabrication for VOC (volatile organic compound) sensing, utilizing MXene-based materials as active layers to enhance sensitivity and selectivity.
