The IPF is involved in the National Research Data Infrastructure NFDI, in the consortia FAIRmat, InnoMatSafety and NFDI4Phys.
In close exchange with these consortia, the aim is to achieve the universal application of the FAIR principles (findable, accessible, interoperable, re-usable), i.e. the combination of research data with machine-readable metadata and thus a harmonization and standardization of the digital transformation process.
